Residents Served by HRG

As a private, non-profit affordable housing provider, Housing Resources Group provides apartments to individuals and families whose incomes range from 30% to 80% of the Seattle ”area median income". Affordable housing is the centerpiece of healthy neighborhoods -communities that work. Safe, high-quality affordable housing builds great neighborhoods, allowing families to live where they choose, making it possible for them to spend less time commuting and more time in their communities, and giving students environments that make it possible to study and learn. A previous resident who now owns her own home said, "We never thought we could afford to live in a place like Casa Pacifica: safe and comfortable. This is a blessing that is allowing me to send my daughter to college."

HRG is the solution for a broad spectrum of affordable housing needs:

• Workforce housing for Seattle employers. More than 75% of current HRG residents work downtown or in surrounding neighborhoods.
   
• Housing for people with a variety of needs such as formerly homeless families, people with HIV/AIDS, and individuals with chronic mental illness.
   
• HRG has provided housing for 44,000 people of all ages, including 5,000 children and 3,200 seniors.
